We are searching for 20 individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset who are committed to launching their own medical billing company and expanding it to six figures. Our eight-week program will be delivered via live online sessions, during which you will be provided with course materials, guidance, and an opportunity to ask questions while concurrently building your business.

 

We will cover the following areas:

 

1. Overview of medical billing: Introduction to the medical billing process, key players in the process, and the importance of accurate and timely billing.

 

2. Legal and regulatory requirements: Understanding the legal and regulatory requirements for operating a medical billing service, including HIPAA regulations, fraud and abuse laws, and state-specific regulations.

 

3. Business planning: Creating a business plan for your medical billing service, including market analysis, pricing strategies, and financial projections.

 

4. Setting up your business: Establishing your business entity, obtaining necessary licenses and permits, setting up a home office or commercial space, and purchasing equipment and supplies and securing funding. insurance plans and their requirements, submitting claims electronically or via mail, and tracking claim status. 

 

5. Patient billing procedures: Understanding the process for billing patients directly, including creating invoices, setting payment terms, and collecting payments.

 

6. Billing software: Familiarizing yourself with the various medical billing software options available, including their features, benefits, and costs.

 

7. Coding and compliance: Understanding medical coding, including ICD-10 and CPT codes, and how to ensure compliance with billing guidelines and regulations.

 

8. Revenue cycle management: Managing the revenue cycle for your medical billing service, including cash flow management, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.

 

9.  Marketing and growth strategies: Developing a marketing plan to grow your medical billing service, including identifying target markets, building a referral network, and leveraging social media and other marketing channels. 

 

10. Develop Your Pricing Strategy: Your pricing strategy will depend on the services you offer and the size of your business.  It's important to research your competition and ensure that your pricing is competitive.

 

11. Hire the Right Staff: Hiring the right staff is crucial to the success of your medical billing service. You will learn what to look for when interviewing and helpful assessments.  AND MUCH MORE!
